Make-up trends for 2023
Over the past decade, makeup has gained a new power in a woman's everyday life, becoming an integral part of every woman's routine. To date, however, one thing is clear makeup is being displaced by the emerging trends in plastic surgery , micropigmentation and non-invasive procedures and the desire of female clients to achieve long-lasting and more aesthetic, highlighted and expressive faces without the daily effort.
Hit interventions include nose jobs, lifting of the philtrum, 'cat eyes' , cheekbone augmentation, lip augmentation and even eyelid surgery. The 'Barbie' look is increasingly in demand and more and more girls are going for it.
These treatments combined with the ever-trending microblading and micropigmentation create better looking faces, leading to new makeup trends.
Forget the heavily contoured faces, smoky eyeshadows and nude lipsticks, the effortless glam look is back on the scene. It is complemented by a double eyeliner, perfect lips in crimson, coral or even cyclamen.
Forget the matte beige-brown shadows, shimmery shadows are back in fashion but not metallic ones, colourful shadows are back too. Blush faces are still a trend , shimmery and brightened with subtle bronzers.
In conclusion, makeup in 2023 will be increasingly light, unobtrusive and inferior to all other procedures and interventions that have been increasingly trendier in recent years.
