Hello , adorable Microblading and Micropigmentation services clients. I have been meaning to write this article for a very long time for the convenience of all of you , before you book an appointment for a permanent brow or lip procedure , as the consequences are sometimes irreparable . In recent months I have been doing mainly corrections of thin permanent eyebrows , blue-green variants , lightened cases or microblading over permanent makeup .
1. I will start by explaining the two procedures Microblading and Micropigmentation .
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup , done with a hand pen , whereby hairs are painted or a light shade effect is achieved . The incisions or so called imitation hairs are made at a superficial level , between the epidermis and dermis , there should be no pressure or deep application of the pigment , because it will turn into tattoos , which will certainly change its color to blue-green shades . This also makes the method less permanent , the durability of the procedure is between 6 months and 1.5 years , the process is individual , and depends on your skin .
Micropigmentation is a machine method or so-called permanent make-up of a new generation. All new techniques for applying pigment at the subcutaneous level are aimed at the most natural look and painless making . Pigment dispersion , which is obtained in micropigmentation + different composition of pigments make the effect of the procedure more durable - about 2 years.
!!! Microblading does not cover old perm makeup ! Unless it is too deep and tightly done , which is not the purpose of microblading . Microblading is a method to maximize the natural look of the eyebrows .
2. Very important is the timing of the choice of a photo specialist from his work. It is good to make sure , that these are personally taken by his clients , not downloaded from the Internet . Every specialist has a style and it shows in his work. If the photos have nothing to do with each other , maybe they were borrowed for advertising.:)
3.Personal contact and attitude is one of the leading things in our work .The people who will really want to help you with your problem or request you will know them by their tone , personal attitude , individual approach and comprehensiveness . It's fine to talk on the phone , in person or on message and ask your questions without embarrassment . 4. One of the MAIN questions I recommend to you is WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU WORK WITH ? WHICH BRAND ARE THEY ? WHAT PRODUCT ARE THEY ? and last but not least for micropigmentation is ARE THEY ORGANIC PIGMENTS OR DO THEY CONTAIN IRON OXIDE ?
!!! THE PRESENCE OF IRON OXIDE MAKES THE PIGMENTS MORE DURABLE OVER TIME UNDER YOUR SKIN , BUT IT IS THE MAIN CULPRIT OF THE COLOR CHANGE TO BLUE , GRAY , GREEN ! There is no such ingredient in organic pigments . Inorganic pigments can also change over time and towards orange .
5. The depth of work is also determinant of the colour change. As I mentioned above , if the pigment is introduced to a greater depth and mixed with the blood , it will take on a greenish tint .
6. The workmanship , apparatus , pigments are of utmost importance , but the maintenance after making is also . It is very important to strictly follow the instructions of the micropigmentologist , to take the necessary care to preserve the pigment , under the skin .During the healing period the eyebrows or lips are cleaned and touched only with clean pads , without putting on them any other cosmetics , such as foundation or gloss !!! The resulting crusts are not pulled with hands , they are left to fall off by themselves .
7. For some clients the first three days are very startling , when the eyebrows darken a lot and then , when the crusts start to fall. In the beginning they think that we have made the darkest eyebrows , and then that the pigment has fallen off and we have not done a good job . Dear clients these are the normal processes during skin healing . Do not be scared , but wait to see the final result after the retouch .
8. Why are there TWO procedures ? With both procedures we achieve the final and lasting result of micropigmentation . After the first procedure some skins , like the more oily or problematic ones shed a lot of pigment , but with the second procedure we saturate and make the eyebrows more permanent .
9. Is there PAIN during the procedure ? Pain is unavoidable once it is worked on the subcutaneous level. In some it is greater , in others it is almost not felt . Every one of us uses painkillers , if the procedure is very unbearable . And the factors of soreness are many - skin type , innervation , momentary state of the body , the hand of the specialist and his skills , type of needle and last but not least the mental attitude . When the effect is desired , the client abstracts from the pain ! 🙂 !
10. And last but not least the PRICE !?! The prices for these procedures range from 100 BGN to 500 BGN. Anyone who works with nice materials will be with average to higher price . Others who work with not particularly high end products but have a lot of experience will also appreciate their work at a higher price. You are the people who will decide if you can compromise on your face !
